From the Emmy Nominated Live at Lincoln center broadcast of Porgy and Bess as 'Sportin Life', Dwayne Clark was said to be" a limber Tenor with atheletisim and grace", New York Times. This historic event was televised at New York City Opera 2002, directed by Tazwell Thompson, and conducted by John Demain. He also made is Opera Debut with New York City Opera as 'Sportin Life' in 2000. Mr. Clark has also performed the role of 'Sportin Life' with New York Harlem Procuctions. Directed by the great Larry Marshall, conducted by Bill Barkhamer in Frankfurt Germany, Bologna Italy, Prato Itlay, Ravenna Italy, Balzona Italy, in the 05/06 seasons. Mr. Clark performed with the New Orleans Opera as 'Sportin Life' directed by Dotty Danner, and also Evansville Opera 05 season.
Most recently Mr. Clark performed with the great Phil Collins on NBC, CBS, and ABC morning shows to promote the Broadway production of Tarzan The Musical at the Richard Rodgers Theater. Here he performed the role of 'Terk' which was done in the animated film by Rosie O'Donnall. During his time on broadway he also performed in Urinetown The Musical, directed by John Rando 04, and making his broadway debut in Smokey Joe's Cafe songs of Leiber and Stoller 1996-97.
Other concerts and national tours include My Favorite Broadway performing with Nathan Lane, Darrius Dehaus, and Michael McElroy. Featured vocalist with the Broadway Inspirational Voices. Opening at the Motown Cafe New York City for the Temptations, 4 tops, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, and the great Dianna Ross.

Mr. Clark a native of Irvington New Jersey graduated from Ohio Vally Christian College where he studied theology and Education. Persuing his dream of acting moved to NYC in 1995 and has trained with Wayne Sanders of Opera
Ebony, TVI actors studio, and Broadway Dance Center. Mr. Clark will be performing the role of 'Sportin Life' in Fresno Claifornia's Porgy and Bess in May 2008.
