Following the acquisition of vocal and piano diploma at the Salzburg Mozarteum gathered Alexander Trauner his
first stage experiences as IOS member of the Vienna State Opera and the Zurich Opera under the firm baton of conductors like Sir Colin Davis, Marek Janowski, Ralf Weikert, Ernst Märzendorfer , George Pretre, Erich Leinsdorf, Udo Zimmermann, Theodor Guschelbauer, Gustav Kuhn, etc. as well as directors like Jürgen Flimm Grischa Asagaroff, Goetz Friedrich, Cesare Lievi, Reto Nickler and Robert Wilson develop a large repertoire of operatic roles.
His voice development exerted a defining influence by KS Karl Ridderbusch, KS Sena Jurinac, KS James King,
Hans Hotter, KS, KS Robert Hale and KS Olivera Miljakovic.
Alexander Trauner won 1st Price of the George London Vocal Competition in Vienna, after which guest performances with the Orchestra of the Bavarian State Opera, the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra,
the Philharmonic Orchestra of Rhineland-Palatinate, the Southwest German Philharmonic, the Orchestre Symphonique de Mulhouse, the Zurich Tonhalle Orchestra and other orchestras in Austria, France, Japan and Switzerland followed, where he also appeared at the Classic Open Air Solothurn and the Staatstheater Karlsruhe was committed.
Alexander Trauner is also a passionate concert singer.
As part of the Tyrolean Festival Erl he debuted as the Rheingold Wotan, Fasolt and Siegfried-hikers, he sang and the role of Amfortas in Wagner's opera "Parsifal," and Schubert's swan song.
At the Teatro Bellini in Catania (Sicily), he played the part of Friedhold in the opera "Guntram" by Richard Strauss.
His debut as a Flying Dutchman, he was at the Opera House in Cluj (Romania), and further in the opera houses of Alicante and Murcia (Spain).
At the Volksoper in Vienna, he debuted as Sebastiano in recovery "Lowlands" by Eugen d'Albert, and was here, among other things already as Marquis d'Obigny
("La Traviata"), Phedros ("The King Candaules"), Gobernador ("The Miracle Theatre ") and speaker (" to see The Magic Flute "). This season, Alexander Trauner is in the new
