Mallorca
Opera Festival
We are very
excited about our upcoming Mallorca Opera Festival. We are currently
planning
performances
for the summer festival 2009 which will feature three to four
opera productions
as well
as modern works and symphonic concerts.
Performances
will be held in various historic venues in and around the city
of Palma on the
lovely Mediterranean
Spanish island of Mallorca. They will include the beautiful 14th
century
Bellver
Castle, the Castle de Bellver, which overlooks the bay of Palma,
the 8000-seat
Bullfighting
Arena, the Plaza de Toros, and a 1000-seat Roman amphitheater
for
more intimate
works.
