Nina Corvino

Lyric Spinto Soprano

Ms. Corvino is a young artist on our roster and has made use of the Mentoring Program offered by the agency. She has developed into a full Lyric Spinto Soprano and is preparing numerous roles. She is ideal for the roles of Leonora in Il Trovatore, Santuzza in Cavalleria Rusticana, Amelia in un Ballo in Maschera, the title role in Tosca, to name a few. She effortlessly soars through the demanding phrases with great excitement. Her voice is very Italianate and rich in timbre.

Starting out as a mezzo soprano, Nina Corvino has performed such roles as Zita from Gianni Schicchi, Marcellina from Le Nozze di Figaro and Sally from A Hand of Bridge. She was born and raised in Westchester, NY, Nina received her bachelor’s degree of music at Manhattanville College where she studied voice with Ronald Cappon. She was also winner of the Brian Lethbridge Vocal Prize in 2004.

We look forward to a rapid rise in her career.
