Our purpose is to present opera in Cities that have had opera companies and which due to hard financial times have gone out of business. Thereby, leaving an opportunity to develop their audiences and give them a new alternative. We are developing other cities as well who currently have opera companies and fill in performances during their non-performance times. We seek to develop audiences in cities that have not had their own companies. We are a non-profit company that may receive donations that can be donated for productions of the American National Opera Company.
The first phase is to produce a tour of “Porgy and Bess” throughout the US and Canada. We are building sets and costumes for that production. The Porgy and Bess National Tour will perform in over 200 cities and will run 2011-2014 seasons. This will be the largest Porgy and Bess tour in the history of this opera.
The project has developed significantly. Fundraising efforts have been very effective and the project team has grown in strength and depth. New partners have brought their financial expertise together. The performances will be presented Worldwide. Russian business firms have generously agreed to support this phase. We have taken on new additional projects with an future film collaboration with a major movie company. The project will then be developed for a Broadway Theatre soon to be named.
We will be making a new commercial recording with SONY Classical of Porgy and Bess. Through new corporate partnerships we will develop wonderful sets and costumes in a realistic as possible setting for each production. We will develop special effects whenever possible to create the moods each composer has written into their pieces.
A recent addition to our project list is a new composition written by Roland Baumgartner in Wien. It is titled “The George Foreman Story”. The music is grand and exciting. Mr. Baumgartner has a wonderful Hollywood style of writing. Mr. Foreman is involved in the project and will take part. We are planning a Carnegie Hall presentation followed by four staged performances at the NJPAC theatre in Newark, New Jersey. We have already obtained 20 theatres in Europe that will present this show. We are also in discussions about a film version.
In the second phase we will build guilds for the patrons and establish a board for those guilds in which representatives in each city or general area will be invited to serve on a national board. We will direct them to discuss various operas, singers, Opera Balls and other events they would like to have in their communities.
The third phase of our operation is to work to present other viable Musicals or Operas. We are looking at productions of Les Miserabile, Otello, Chenier, Tosca, Rigoletto, Fledermaus, Boheme, and Fanciulla Del West.
The fourth phase will see the birth of another new project called Festival Opera Majorca off the coast of Spain. This dramatic setting will host three different venues. The Bullfighting Arena, The Castle Belver, and the Congress Centrum Roman Theater. Plans are developing and the Debut Season will be May/June 2012. Orchestras and Choruses from Europe are competing for contracts. The project will be created and incorporated in Spain.
Special attention will be given to develop new compositions in a chamber music series, and enliven interest in this classical side of the music industry. Many new technological forms will be presented in these performances.
The center of our operations will be marketing and public relations. We will establish a strong presence in each community to become part of their life. Special focus will be given to active communications with colleges and various civic organizations. We will strive to maintain and strengthen political support in each city.
Our desire is to foster more interactive performances and invite the audiences to participate in this experience. Naturally, all of these efforts require good financial backers and donations from private sources. Our private investors will see very profitable returns on their investments. Without the aid of these investors it would be impossible to produce on this scale. We will create live theatre for profit.
We believe that we are entering an age of enlightenment. Perhaps we are in this age now. We sense a profound change coming to our lives as we speak. The power of words will lead the way into a marvelous period. This truth that we are experiencing is not an accident. It has long been heralded by many cultures. We take part in this “Truth” by extending these live performances and the magic they give to the people. We seek to send this truth around the World to all cultures. If we gravitate toward similar ideas, maybe we do so because those ideas are true….written deep within us. And when we hear the truth resonate within us… vibrating with our unconscious wisdom. Perhaps the truth is not learned by us, but, rather, the truth is re-called….remembered….recognized…. as that which is already inside us. We want you to become a part of this message. Please join us!
